Jinwan Park receives Schwarzman Scholarship to study in China
Jinwan Park has been named a Schwarzman Scholar, an esteemed honor that comes with full tuition for a one-year master’s degree program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Park is from South Korea and transferred to UW–Madison in spring 2022.

Ho-Am Prize
The Ho-Am Prize is one of the most prestigious awards in South Korea and globally. The prize recognizes outstanding achievements across a range of disciplines, including science, engineering, medicine, arts, and community service, making it highly esteemed in both academic and professional circles. Since the award was established in 1990, seven individuals connected to UW have been named as recipients.
